萨卡特卡斯市（西班牙文：Zacatecas）是墨西哥萨卡特卡斯州首府，面积444平方千米，人口13.2万。该市凭着16和17世纪兼容欧洲和本土印第安文化特色的建筑群被联合国教育科学文化组织列为世界文化遗产。该市交通便利，有墨西哥中央铁路及墨西哥国铁经过。在萨卡特卡斯市和城市周边开设有四个工业园区。该地区教育事业比较发达，许多高等学府都设在萨卡特卡斯市。
萨卡特卡斯州最重要的产业是矿业，有开采价值的有银、金等，
农产品有谷物、糖及龙舌兰，当地的桃、杏和酿酒用葡萄产量也很可观。畜牧业方面，以绵羊、山羊和猪为重点。当地的特产为银胶菊，一种可以采收橡胶的灌木。该区制造业不发达，仅有冶炼、橡胶、制糖、酿酒 (包括朗姆酒、龙舌兰酒、梅斯卡尔酒与普逵酒)、纺织，及少量资本工业。
惠山区与该市的友好交往始于2011年10月。2012年9月，萨卡特卡斯市学生代表团14人赴惠山区，与江苏省锡山高级中学进行学生交流。2014年11月，双方签约，成为友好城市。惠山区多次派遣政府代表团对该市进行友好访问；萨卡特卡斯市也派员回访，并参加无锡市举办的友城论坛。2020年7月，惠山区政府克服困难，向该市捐赠了一批口罩，协助该市抗击新冠疫情，费用由惠山区承担。
Introduction to Zacatecas, Mexico
Zacatecas, capital city of Zacatecas state of Mexico, covers an area of 444 square kilometers with a population of 132,000. It has been listed as world cultural heritage site by UNESCO because of its residential complex with European and Indian cultural characteristics in the 16th and 17th century. It has convenient traffic with Mexican central and national railways passing by. There are 4 industrial parks inside and surrounding Zacatecas. Home to many higher educational institutions, it has an advanced education sector.
Its pillar industry is mining as it has valuable silver and gold resources. It also has agricultural produces such as cereal, sugar and tequila and high output of peach, apricot and grape for wine brewing. Sheep, goat and pig are the major livestock for husbandry. Guayule, a kind of bush providing rubber for harvesting, is its specialty. It has underdeveloped manufacturing industry consisting of only smelting, rubber, sugar and wine (including rum, tequila, mescal and pulque) making, textiles and production of a few capital commodities.
The friendly exchanges between Zacatecas and Huishan started in October 2011. In September 2012, a delegation of 14 students from Zacatecas visited Huishan for exchange with students of Xishan senior High School. In November 2014, the two sides signed the sister-city treaty. Many mutual visits have been made between our governments and Zacatecas also attended the sister city forums held by Wuxi. In July 2020, in spite of difficulties, Huishan government allocated funds for donation of masks to Zacatecas to help it combat COVID-19 epidemic.
