蔚州郡位于韩国蔚山广域市，面积755平方公里，人口约20.5万人。

双方友好交往始于2013年8月。期间，双方各派代表团进行互访，开展交流。2019年，惠山区区长吴建元访问蔚州郡期间，双方签约，成为友好城市。惠山区与蔚州郡在产业发展方面有较高的相似度和互补性，两地计划在经济、文化、科技、人才、教育等领域开展深入的交流和合作，建立牢固的友谊。
Introduction to Ulju County, South Korea
Ulju County is located in Ulsan City, South Korea, covering an area of 755 square kilometers with a population of about 205,000.
● Industrial Structure of Ulju County
Manufacturing Center of South Korea: It is the manufacturing center of petrochemical, automobile, electronic communications, ship building and maritime industry of South Korea. It is now vigorously developing high-tech industry.
● Cluster of Medium-and-Small-sized Enterprises with Cutting-edge Technology
Ulju County is home to many cutting-edge electronic and auto part industries. It has over 1,000 enterprises, 227 of which settle in Wenshan national industrial park.

It has one national industrial park and three agricultural parks. The construction of Jichuan industrial park and high-tech valley is under planning to support the further development of enterprises.

The friendly exchanges between Ulju and Huishan started in August 2011. Mutual visits have been made between the two sides.
